PARIS<\/span>, Oct. 1, 2021<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Kering announces the appointment of Thierry Marty<\/span> as President of Kering North & South-East Asia Pacific<\/span>, which includes Japan<\/span>, Korea, South-East Asia<\/span>, Australia<\/span> and New Zealand<\/span>, effective from October 1<\/span>st<\/sup>, 2021. This newly created position will reinforce Kering’s corporate team in APAC, supporting the long-term development of its Houses in the region.<\/p>\n

Having lived more than 20 years in Asia<\/span>, he brings extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the luxury industry in these markets. Thierry Marty<\/span> will be based in Seoul<\/span> and will report to Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Palus. Kering’s organization in Greater China<\/span> remains unchanged, with Jinqing Cai<\/span>, President of Kering Greater China, leading the local corporate teams.<\/p>\n

Thierry Marty<\/span> comes with over 20 years of luxury experience in Asia<\/span>, and has lived in Singapore<\/span>, Tokyo<\/span> and Seoul<\/span>. He started his career at Deloitte before joining LVMH in 1995. His career took him from finance to general management roles at Fendi, Celine, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton<\/span>. <\/i><\/p>\n
