The newly accredited organizations are:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><b>Oak Ridge Associated Universities<\/b>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Oak Ridge, Tennessee<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Osaka University Hospital, <\/b><span class=\"xn-location\">Osaka, Japan<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span class=\"xn-org\">Rutgers<\/span>, The State University of <span class=\"xn-location\">New Jersey<\/span>, <\/b><span class=\"xn-location\">New Brunswick, New Jersey<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;As organizations once again broaden their focus beyond COVID-19 activities, AAHRPP accreditation and the resulting protections for research participants are high on the list of priorities,&#8221; AAHRPP President and CEO <span class=\"xn-person\">Elyse I. Summers<\/span> said.<\/p>\n<p>Accreditation highlights for 2022 include:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The first two AAHRPP-accredited organizations in <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>: a research review provider in September and a hospital in December<\/li>\n<li>A national cancer care network<\/li>\n<li>Two specialty hospitals: one focused on women and infants, the other on children&#8217;s health<\/li>\n<li>Hospital and community health systems and research universities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;Our 2022 accreditations underscore the value of AAHRPP&#8217;s high standards for entities across the global research enterprise,&#8221; Summers said. &#8220;Whether your organization is large or small, in the U.S., <span class=\"xn-location\">Asia<\/span> or any other location, AAHRPP accreditation can enhance the quality and reputation of your human research protection program.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>AAHRPP has accredited more than 600 research entities across the U.S. and in <span class=\"xn-location\">Australia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Belgium<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Brazil<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">India<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Jordan<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Mexico<\/span>, Republic of Korea, <span class=\"xn-location\">Saudi Arabia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Singapore<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Taiwan<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Thailand<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>All major U.S. independent institutional review boards have earned AAHRPP accreditation.
