Tourism is one of the pillar industries of <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span>. The return of tourists would spur the recovery of the city&#8217;s dining, hotel and retail businesses, further catalyzing the development of exhibition, transportation and trading. Invitations from places including <span class=\"xn-location\">Zhejiang<\/span> province, <span class=\"xn-location\">Yunnan<\/span> province and <span class=\"xn-location\">Nanjing<\/span> also reached <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span> one after another, seeking win-win results.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese mainland is <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong&#8217;s<\/span> largest export market. But due to the pandemic, <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong&#8217;s<\/span> import and export activity died down over the past three years. Along with the gradual resumption of goods transportation between the Chinese mainland and <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span>, the city&#8217;s export volume will also increase, helping <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong&#8217;s<\/span> economy get back on track.<\/p>\n<p>From a long-term view, financial services and technological innovation are typical drivers of <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong&#8217;s<\/span> future economic recovery. The high-quality economic development of the Chinese mainland, a greater level of opening-up and the building of the <span class=\"xn-location\">Guangdong<\/span>-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will provide a broader market for <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong&#8217;s<\/span> financial services and technological innovation industries. Three days after full travel resumption, <span class=\"xn-location\">China&#8217;s<\/span> National Immigration Administration announced that starting from <span class=\"xn-chron\">Feb. 20<\/span>, mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area will pilot a new policy of issuing endorsements for talents traveling to and from <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span> and Macao SAR.
