Virtual Presentation<\/b><\/p>\n

In advance of InterBattery 2023, Younggyu Nam, Senior Battery Design Engineer, will host a virtual presentation, “Don’t Just Delay Cell-to-Cell Thermal Propagation, Stop it.”<\/p>\n

Attendees will learn about the role of cell-to-cell barriers and compression pads in managing thermal and mechanical energy inside a module and\/or pack. Mr. Nam will illustrate how energy and material flow during a thermal runaway event and will discuss the landscape of possible solutions (e.g., foams, fibers, foils, and aerogels). The webinar will feature real-world testing of PyroThin, including footage of PyroThin stopping thermal propagation at a cell-to-cell level.<\/p>\n
