This trial is both the first time OVM-200 has been used in people and also the first time any ROP based vaccine has been tested in the clinic.<\/p>\n<p>The Phase I trial of OVM-200 is focused on safety and on establishing an immune response in patients with three tumor types \u2013 non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), prostate cancer and ovarian cancer. Patients have been treated at four sites in the UK; University College London Hospital (UCLH), the cancer hospital of the <span class=\"xn-org\">Oxford University<\/span> Hospitals Foundation Trust (OUHFT), the Christie NHS Foundation Trust in <span class=\"xn-location\">Manchester<\/span> and the Sarah Cannon Research Institute in <span class=\"xn-location\">London<\/span>. The Chief Investigator for the trial is Professor <span class=\"xn-person\">Martin Forster<\/span>, based at UCLH. To date twelve patients have been treated at four dose levels in Phase 1a, the dose escalation part of the trial. A further 24 patients will be treated in Phase <span class=\"xn-money\">1b<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>A company official said, &#8220;We have a new advanced antigen platform technology which can utilize new cancer vaccine and apply to various anti-cancer areas.
