The program was loosely inspired by celebrity chef <span class=\"xn-person\">Jamie Oliver&#8217;s<\/span> Food Revolution, which sought to spread awareness about healthy eating to communities all around the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Culinary Attach\u00e9 network is designed to help make a positive impact on local economies and communities by empowering passionate locals to leverage their own local culinary cultures,&#8221; said&nbsp;WFTA Executive Director <span class=\"xn-person\">Erik Wolf<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>At its core, our Culinary Attach\u00e9 Network will benefit culinary destinations by:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Helping to create a stronger sense of place, thereby boosting visitor arrivals<\/li>\n<li>Increasing a destination&#8217;s brand equity<\/li>\n<li>Generating export demand for an area&#8217;s food and beverage products<\/li>\n<li>Creating new jobs in tourism and hospitality businesses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Culinary Attach\u00e9 network also helps the&nbsp;WFTA to spread its reach across the globe, while bringing news from the far corners of our planet back to the Association.<\/p>\n<p>The attach\u00e9 network complements the&nbsp;WFTA&#8217;s existing Ambassador program, which is comprised of official representatives of the Association in different countries around the world. Attach\u00e9s are informal supporters with minimal requirements and commitment.
