This strategic move has facilitated the restructuring of the city&#8217;s modern industries and the transition to new sources of economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>Inside a production workshop of Shandong Goldencell Electronics Technology Co Ltd, numerous products are being prepared for export to European markets.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Most of these energy storage cabinets are sold to <span class=\"xn-location\">Europe<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span> for home energy storage. Our lithium battery products account for 95% of the global golf cart market and are supplied to three major golf cart giants worldwide. Additionally, our lithium batteries for medical devices boast small size, large capacity, and high safety performance, resulting in strong market demand,&#8221; said a company representative.<\/p>\n<p>As of March this year, Zaozhuang was home to 4,229 new energy-related companies. From lithium batteries for electric bicycles and computers, communications and consumer products to energy storage and passenger vehicles, as well as high-performance lithium batteries for applications in fields such as ships, marine, and aviation, Zaozhuang enterprises have the capability to produce a wide range of products.<\/p>\n<p>Zaozhuang has introduced a policy to boost the lithium battery industry with the aim of reaching a production value of <span class=\"xn-money\">80 billion yuan<\/span> (<span class=\"xn-money\">$11.1 billion<\/span>) by 2025, <span class=\"xn-money\">150 billion yuan<\/span> by 2030, and <span class=\"xn-money\">300 billion yuan<\/span> by 2035.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Zaozhuang boasts 38 lithium battery research platforms and has accumulated 698 patents related to lithium batteries.
