As a city thriving on coal, in recent years, Zaozhuang has seized major opportunities such as the national implementation of the “dual carbon” strategy, the construction of a green, low-carbon, and high-quality development pilot zone in Shandong<\/span>, and the support of Shandong<\/span> to cluster and develop the lithium battery industry in our city. In September 2022<\/span>, the first Zaozhuang International Lithium Battery Industry Exhibition was successfully held in the city, establishing an international comprehensive service platform that integrates product display, technical exchange, research and development cooperation, investment promotion and docking, and science education. During this period, over 1200 guest merchants and 165 well-known enterprises were invited to participate, and 32 major projects with a total investment of 133.5 billion yuan<\/span> were successfully signed.<\/p>\n

Zaozhuang improving the working mechanism of “chain length+chain owner+alliance+fund”, fully supporting the accelerated development of local top lithium battery enterprises, and attracting a group of leading enterprises, forming an industrial development pattern of leading traction, project driving, and group collaboration. Zaozhuang City has formulated a development plan for the lithium battery industry, introduced the first special regulation for the lithium battery industry in China<\/span> – the “Zaozhuang Lithium Battery Industry Development Promotion Regulations”, formed the lithium battery industry alliance and the first lithium battery industry union in China<\/span>, established a new energy industry fund with a total scale of 20 billion yuan<\/span>, and accelerated the construction of the “Zaozhuang Solution \u00b7Zaozhuang Satisfaction” platform to promote consultation and suggestions from the public and market entities The issue demands “one platform acceptance and a package solution”.<\/p>\n
