This release marks the first successful global expansion for Daewoong Pharmaceutical within just one year since the initial release of Fexuprazan. Developed independently with Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s proprietary technology for 13 years since 2008, Fexuprazan is a pure domestic novel drug with five key strengths, including rapid onset of action, quick and significant symptom improvement, excellent nighttime symptom relief, convenience of administration, low drug interactions and consistency of efficacy.<\/p>\n

Jeon Seng<\/span>-ho, the CEO of Daewoong Pharmaceutical, stated, “With the start of sales in the Philippines<\/span>, we will take significant steps in the global gastroesophageal reflux disease market and aim to achieve one trillion won<\/span> in global sales by 2030.” He further added, “We will continue to secure additional indications beyond the current treatment of mild erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease and acute and chronic gastritis mucosal lesions, and expand the formulation to enhance competitiveness in terms of administration convenience.”<\/p>\n
