MANCHESTER, England<\/span>, Sept. 20, 2023<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — SmartKem, Inc. (“SmartKem” or the “Company”) (OTCQB: SMTK), a company seeking to reshape the world of electronics with its disruptive organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) that will drive the next generation of displays, has announced that it will proceed with a 1-for-35 reverse stock split of its outstanding shares of common stock. The reverse stock split will become effective at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time<\/span>, on September 20, 2023.<\/p>\n

The Company’s common stock will begin trading on a post-split basis at the market open at 9:30 a.m., under the Company’s existing trading symbol “SMTK”. The CUSIP number for the common stock following the reverse stock split will be 83193D203.<\/p>\n
