Flowers and applause to the brave sailors competing in the&nbsp;Shandong Port Fareast Cup International Regatta 2023!<\/p>\n<div class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\" id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1\">\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/mma.prnasia.com\/media2\/2235256\/1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mma.prnasia.com\/media2\/2235256\/1.jpg?p=medium600\" title alt> <\/a> <br \/><span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 1<\/span>, nearly 100 sailors from <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Russia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">South Korea<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">the United States<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Sweden<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Australia<\/span>, the <span class=\"xn-location\">United Kingdom<\/span>, and <span class=\"xn-location\">Indonesia<\/span> embarked on 7 boats and set out for the adventure in the Shandong Port Fareast Cup International Regatta 2023 in <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Shandong<\/span> province.<\/p>\n<p>Heading east and north, the fleet rode the waves and arrived at <span class=\"xn-location\">Vladivostok, Russia<\/span> on <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 10<\/span>, coinciding the 2023 Eastern Economic Forum there. As a part of the Forum, the fleet received a warm welcome and the <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> organizing committee for the regatta was honored with &#8220;the best even-organizing award&#8221; by the Forum.<\/p>\n<p>Staying there for three days for local activities, rest and reorganization, sailors reversed direction and started the return voyage to <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> on <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 13<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>On <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 18<\/span>, the fleet successfully docked in Mokpo, <span class=\"xn-location\">South Korea<\/span>. Sailors explored the local dock and an art gallery and participated in a series of cultural exchange activities. The <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> organizing committee of the regatta was invited to attend a local economic event and made a speech.<\/p>\n<p>Leaving Mokpo on <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 22<\/span>, the fleet returned to <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> on 25.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of this 25-day regatta, the bonds between ports, cities, organizations, and sailors from diverse nations were fortified, facilitating a vibrant exchange of cultures that bloomed along the wake of the sailing boats.<\/p>\n<p>On the evening of <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 26<\/span>, the closing ceremony of the regatta was held in <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span>. The Delo Group Sailing Team won the championship, while the Teyoo Investment Xiamen SailingIn Team from <span class=\"xn-location\">Fujian Province<\/span> secured second place, and the Qingdao Sailing City Team earned a well-deserved third place.<\/p>\n<p>Born in <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> in 2016, the Fareast Cup international regatta has brought its hometown plenty of international elements and vitality, and enhanced <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao&#8217;s<\/span> image as a sailing city.
