BRESCIA, Italy<\/span>, Oct. 21, 2023<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Every year, the 1000 Miglia<\/b> has some surprises in store. The passage through Genoa<\/span>,<\/b> with a view of the port and a parade along the seafront, will be the absolute novelty of the coming edition. The month of June and the five race days<\/b> confirmed, the more than 400 cars will cross seven Italian regions travelling anticlockwise<\/b>, as in 2021.<\/p>\n

1000 Miglia 2024 – Roadmap<\/span> <\/div>\n

After starting in Brescia on Tuesday <\/b>afternoon, 11 June,<\/b> and passing through Bergamo, Novara <\/b>and Vercelli<\/b>, the first leg will end in Turin<\/span>.<\/p>\n

On the second day, from Turin<\/span>, the convoy will descend southwards, passing through the Langhe<\/b> and through the centre of Alba<\/b> before heading towards Genoa<\/span>, the 2024 European Capital of Sport<\/b> for the first race lunch. After lunch, the race will leave the Riviera di Levante for the Tyrrhenian coast where it will reach Viareggio, the site of the arrival of the second day of the race.<\/b><\/p>\n

The descent towards Rome<\/span><\/b> will characterise the third leg<\/b>, which will initially see a deviation into the Tuscan hinterland with the passage through Lucca<\/b>, before returning to the coast at Livorno<\/b> and continuing until the lunch break in Castiglione della Pescaia<\/b>. In the afternoon, passing through Grosseto, entering Lazio<\/span><\/b> and descending along Lake Bolsena,<\/b> the day will end with a parade in Via Veneto.                     <\/p>\n

After the halfway point in Rome<\/span>, on the fourth day the crews will drive up to Orvieto<\/b> before stopping for lunch in Solomeo,<\/b> a characteristic medieval village nestling in the Umbrian hills, from where they will set off again towards Siena<\/b> and Prato<\/b>. Before reaching the leg finale in Bologna,<\/b> drivers and navigators will cross the Futa<\/b> and Raticosa<\/b> passes. From Bologna, the last leg will include Ferrara<\/b> and Mantua<\/b>, and again Lake Garda with the Valtenesi<\/b> and Sal\u00f2<\/b> before the classic parade in Viale Venezia in Brescia.<\/p>\n

To enter for the 1000 Miglia, cars must hold or have applied for a certificate from the Registro 1000 Miglia.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Ferrari Tribute<\/b>, the 1000 Miglia Green<\/b>, the Self-drive Car<\/b> and the Charity Car<\/b> will precede the competition of the historic cars.<\/p>\n
