GREATER DES MOINES, Iowa<\/span>, Oct. 25, 2023<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — The Iowa Caucus Consortium<\/a> will return for the 2024 election to showcase the Greater Des Moines<\/span> region by providing the media, candidates and visitors an accommodating and beneficial experience. The Iowa Caucus Consortium, which began in 2008, is an initiative of Catch Des Moines<\/span><\/a> and the Greater Des Moines Partnership<\/a> in close collaboration with the Iowa Democratic Party<\/a> and the Republican Party of Iowa<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

"Every four years, the national spotlight shines brightly on Iowa<\/span> and this is our chance to host the thousands of media members, visitors and candidate staff members who come to Greater Des Moines<\/span>," said Greg Edwards<\/span>, President and CEO of Catch Des Moines. "The Consortium has become a valuable resource for the media and candidates by connecting them with the people, places and issues."<\/p>\n

One of the primary benefits of the Consortium is the establishment of a Media Center, where visiting and local members of the media can set up workspaces for covering the Iowa Caucuses schedule for Monday, Jan. 15, 2024<\/span>. The center will be hosted at the Iowa Events Center and will be open from Thursday, Jan. 11<\/span> \u2013 Tuesday, Jan. 16<\/span>.<\/p>\n
