(or &#8220;the company&#8221;, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skhynix.com\/eng\/main.do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">www.skhynix.com<\/a>) announced today that it has completed customer validation of 96GB CMM(CXL<sup><span id=\"spanHghlt3f36\">[1]<\/span><\/sup> Memory Module)-DDR5, a DRAM solution product based on CXL 2.0.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<table border=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"1\" class=\"prnbcc\">\n<tbody readability=\"5\">\n<tr readability=\"15\">\n<td class=\"prngen2\" colspan=\"1\" rowspan=\"1\" readability=\"13\">\n<p class=\"prnml4\"><span class=\"prnews_span\"><b><i><span class=\"prnews_span\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i>&nbsp;Compute eXpress Link (CXL):<\/i><\/b><i>&nbsp;A next-generation interface that efficiently connects CPU, GPU, memory, and other components in high-performance computing systems to support massive, ultra-fast computation. Based on PCIe interface, CXL allows fast data transfer and has pooling capability to efficiently utilize memory<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>The company said that it can process 36GB\/s due to a 50% increase in capacity when the product is applied to the server systems and a 30% <span id=\"spanHghlt165d\">improvement<\/span> in the bandwidth compared to previous DDR5 modules. This product, equipped with 32Gb DDR5 DRAM using the 1bnm process, or the fifth-generation of the 10-nanometer technology, has high performance per watt<sup><span id=\"spanHghlt795d\">[3]<\/span><\/sup>.
