Remaining materials\u2014over 5 tons\u2014were shredded and repurposed into sustainable fabrics, including silk-wool blends for future collections.<\/li>\n<li><b>Zero Scraps:<\/b> Partnering with TerraCycle\u00ae, LILYSILK offers customers a recycling program for their silk products. In 2024 alone, the program diverted over 490 pounds of material from landfills. To date, we&#8217;ve recycled more than 2,690 items, helping keep unwearable silk textiles out of landfills and incinerators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The company also continues to improve its packaging practices. In 2024, 99% of LILYSILK&#8217;s outer packaging was degradable, with a goal of reaching 100% by 2026.
