Mr. van Wijk will be responsible for overseeing four destinations (<span class=\"xn-location\">Beijing<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Shanghai<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Hong Kong<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Taipei<\/span>) from his base in <span class=\"xn-location\">Beijing<\/span>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\" id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1999\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mma.prnasia.com\/media2\/2735743\/Steven_03.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mma.prnasia.com\/media2\/2735743\/Steven_03.jpg?p=medium600\" title=\"Steven van Wijk\" alt=\"Steven van Wijk\"><\/a><br \/><span>Steven van Wijk<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Mr. van Wijk brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry to the role, having joined KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 2007 after completing his Master&#8217;s degree in Financial Econometrics from the University of <span class=\"xn-location\">Amsterdam<\/span>. He has held various key positions, including roles in the KLM Network department and the Commercial Division of Air France-KLM. His recent appointments include Commercial Director for <span class=\"xn-location\">East Africa<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">South America<\/span>, and the UK and <span class=\"xn-location\">Ireland<\/span>. He joins from his previous role as Commercial Director for Air France KLM in the <span class=\"xn-location\">United Kingdom<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Ireland<\/span>, where he demonstrated strong commercial leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on his appointment, Mr. van Wijk said, &#8220;I am honored and confident to lead Air France KLM&#8217;s operations in <span class=\"xn-location\">Greater China<\/span>. <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span> is one of the most important overseas markets for the Air France KLM Group, characterized by dynamism and significant potential.
