[Photo provided to China.org.cn]<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The event, titled &#8220;Experience China \u2014 A Symphony of Stories on China-U.S. People-to-People Friendship,&#8221; was presented through a symphony and innovative immersive storytelling methods. Enhanced by music, the event invited narrators from <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span> and the U.S. to recount five moving stories of wartime solidarity, including the Doolittle Raid rescue and the Flying Tigers&#8217; role in aiding <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span> during the war against Japanese aggression.<\/p>\n<p>Tong Lijuan, head of the Doolittle Raid Memorial Hall in eastern <span class=\"xn-location\">China&#8217;s<\/span> Quzhou city, joined descendants of U.S. airmen who participated in the Doolittle Raid, to recount the rescue of American pilots by Chinese civilians during World War II.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese Ambassador to the United States <span class=\"xn-person\">Xie Feng<\/span> attended the <span class=\"xn-location\">Washington<\/span> program, while Consul General <span class=\"xn-person\">Chen Li<\/span> participated in the <span class=\"xn-location\">New York<\/span> session.
