{"id":39884,"date":"2025-09-15T12:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-15T12:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.prnasia.com\/story\/archive\/4772093_HK72093_0"},"modified":"2025-09-15T12:30:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T12:30:00","slug":"korea-reinforces-biopharma-leadership-at-global-bio-conference-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/transmediavictoria.net.au\/?p=39884","title":{"rendered":"Korea reinforces biopharma leadership at Global Bio Conference 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"legendSpanClass\"><span class=\"xn-location\">SEOUL, South Korea<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"legendSpanClass\"><span class=\"xn-chron\">Sept. 15, 2025<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ &#8212; This is an article published in The Korea Herald:<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on Thursday announced its successful hosting of the Global Bio Conference 2025 in <span class=\"xn-location\">Seoul<\/span> last week, under the theme &#8220;Bio, Navigating Infinite Possibilities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The three-day event \u2014 held <span class=\"xn-chron\">Sept. 3-5<\/span> at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in southern <span class=\"xn-location\">Seoul<\/span> \u2014 brought together about 4,530 participants, including 94 experts from 21 countries, alongside representatives from academia, the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The conference, marking its eleventh year, provided a platform to share the latest research, development and regulatory trends, and discuss strategies for future growth.<\/p>\n<p>It highlighted the latest developments in advanced biopharmaceuticals, covering quality management trends and global regulatory harmonization, and reviewed cases of emerging vaccine platforms such as self-amplifying RNA.<\/p>\n<p>Emerging challenges amid rapid technological advances, such as artificial intelligence and regulatory considerations to expand patient access, were also addressed.<\/p>\n<p>Global regulatory cooperation was another focal point. Officials from <span class=\"xn-location\">Europe<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Australia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ecuador<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Japan<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Thailand<\/span> and other countries joined the global regulators workshop to share practices on approval and review systems, policy updates and collaborative initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>The head of <span class=\"xn-location\">Ecuador&#8217;s<\/span> regulatory authority attended to request effective implementation of the reference system to accelerate the approval of Korean medicines, while a dedicated session with pharmaceutical firms explored strategies for entering Latin American markets.<\/p>\n<p>The Food and Drug Safety Ministry commented that it will continue to support the conference as a leading platform for global regulatory cooperation, while promoting the competitiveness of Korean biopharmaceuticals and supporting them in achieving early entry into overseas markets.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 11 one-on-one meetings between Korean companies and overseas regulators were held during the conference, aiming to support their global market expansion and address industry challenges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 15, 2025 \/PRNewswire\/ &#8212;
