The star-studded &#8220;Super Night&#8221; began at <span class=\"xn-chron\">7:30 p.m.<\/span> Beijing Time on <span class=\"xn-chron\">January 31<\/span>, and lasted over five hours, presenting splendid programs to audiences from all over the world.<\/p>\n<div class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\" id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder6722\" align=\"center\" readability=\"7\">\n<p title=\"CGTN's multilingual Spring Festival 'Super Night' special meets global viewers\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Hpoe031PG2c\" frameborder=\"0\">&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;<\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Hosts from CGTN English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian channels sent festival blessings in five languages. <\/p>\n<p>Ambassadors to <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span> of <span class=\"xn-location\">Russia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Kyrgyzstan<\/span>, the <span class=\"xn-location\">United Arab Emirates<\/span> (UAE), <span class=\"xn-location\">Peru<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Ecuador<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Argentina<\/span> and other countries sent Lunar New Year greetings via video, while reporters and influencers sent greetings from <span class=\"xn-location\">Singapore<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">New York<\/span>, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) and other places worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"xn-location\">Beijing<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Chongqing<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Wuhan<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">Qingdao<\/span> were the four Chinese cities that lit up the night sky with gorgeous light shows. The cities&#8217; landmarks were emblazoned with the CGTN logo and the words &#8220;Together for a Shared Future,&#8221; the official motto for 2022 Winter Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>The five-hour extravaganza used cutting-edge technologies, including extended reality (XR) that gave viewers a more immersive experience and helped to break through the limitations of time and space on stage. The aerospace section of the special reviewed <span class=\"xn-location\">China&#8217;s<\/span> aerospace achievements, showcasing memorable moments such as the first time that Chinese astronauts used manual teleoperation equipment in orbit.<\/p>\n<p>Hosts introduced a series of Chinese customs and traditions, including Peking Opera, traditional costume Hanfu, Chinese cuisines and different dance styles. The wonderful audio-visual experience was available on multiple social media platforms, including CGTN&#8217;s official website, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>The Spring Festival, also known as the Lunar New Year, is the most important and widely celebrated festival in <span class=\"xn-location\">China<\/span> and other East Asian countries. This is not only a time for family reunions, visiting relatives and friends, but also to exchange greetings and well wishes for the new year.
