PALO ALTO, Calif.<\/span>, Sept. 21, 2021 \/PRNewswire\/ — Zendure, the Silicon Valley tech company with a “power everywhere” mission, has extended the crowdfunding campaign for their new power station for another 30 days. SuperBase Pro<\/b><\/a> aims to be the top choice in power stations, due to key design elements, some eco-friendly innovations and a host of helpful and unique features including IoT connectivity.<\/p>\n

Andrew O’Hara<\/span> from AppleInsider<\/b> called SuperBase Pro<\/a> “the power station you want”, lauding the “impressive array of inputs and outputs” as well as its superfast recharge ability.<\/p>\n

Like Zendure’s other offerings in mobile power, SuperBase Pro<\/a> has a durable exterior<\/b> without the “military surplus” aesthetic of other durable products. The 2,096Wh<\/b>, 2,000W<\/b> power station features two industrial-grade wheels<\/b> and an extending handle<\/b> made of aircraft aluminum for ease of transport to the campsite, the workshop, or anywhere mobile power might be needed. The Verge’s Jon Porter<\/span><\/b> has spoken on the utility of the handle and wheels.<\/p>\n

The power station can be charged to 80% in just one hour<\/b> and features 14 output ports<\/b>, including six AC outputs (four in the EU version). While the nominal AC output power is 2,000W, SuperBase Pro can deliver up to 4,000W<\/b> for a brief period, for heavy-duty products that require high startup power. The power station is also compatible with most 3,000W devices<\/b>, thanks to Zendure’s patented “AmpUp” technology which raises the output voltage while maintaining a safe pure-sine-wave<\/b> profile.<\/p>\n

A 200W solar panel<\/b> is available to order alongside SuperBase Pro<\/a>, and Zendure has recently announced an EV charging station adapter<\/b> that allows users to charge their power station at up to 1,800W, for a full charge in just two hours<\/b>. Additionally, SuperBase Pro can be used to charge an electric vehicle<\/b>. In charging trials with a Tesla vehicle, a fully-charged SuperBase Pro was able to provide seven to eight miles’<\/b> worth of energy.<\/p>\n

Zendure’s new power station boasts a long list of useful features that are uncommon or altogether absent from competing brands. SuperBase Pro<\/a> can function as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)<\/b>. If power suddenly stops flowing into the AC input, the power station can switch over to battery power in just a fraction of a second, protecting connected devices from downtime or even damage.<\/p>\n

Advanced features, controls, and device information can be accessed from SuperBase Pro’s companion mobile app<\/b>, which can connect to the internet over either Wi-Fi<\/b> or the integrated 4G<\/b> hardware. SuperBase Pro<\/a> comes with one year of 4G<\/b> service that works in 200 countries.<\/p>\n

The app shows the status of the power station and allows the user to control the outputs and access specific device preferences, including input limitation, quiet operation mode, display timeout, and a charging timer that helps the user save on their energy bill<\/b> by avoiding peak hours. Device location is visible in the app thanks to the built-in GPS<\/b> chip. This is a helpful anti-theft feature, plus it makes it easy for a person to manage multiple power stations at multiple sites.<\/p>\n

SuperBase Pro<\/a> has a rather noticeable eco-friendly slant, not only as a cleaner alternative to gas-powered generators, but also by tracking the user’s carbon reduction<\/b> in a feature that Zendure calls “ZenForest”. ZenForest is sort of an interactive, dynamic infographic that helps bring awareness to the impact of our energy choices and also has a unique real-world effect: as users grow their ZenForest, the calculated carbon reduction will translate to real trees being planted<\/b> around the world, through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Zendure aims to plant ten million trees<\/b> by 2025.<\/p>\n

SuperBase Pro<\/a> is available to order now on Indiegogo<\/b> for $1,299<\/span>, 43% off the anticipated retail price, with estimated delivery in October of this year. Additional accessories are available, including a 200W solar panel<\/b>, an EV-AC adapter<\/b> (J1772 or Mennekes), and a waterproof cover<\/b>.
