FOSHAN, China<\/span><\/span>, May 6, 2022<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — Bright Scholar Education Holdings Limited (“Bright Scholar” or the “Company”) (NYSE: BEDU), a global premier education service company, today announced that its board of directors (the “Board”) has formed a special committee consisting of three independent directors, Mr. Peter Andrew Schloss<\/span>, Mr. Jun Zhao<\/span> and Mr. Ronald J. Packard<\/span>, to evaluate and consider the previously announced preliminary non-binding proposal letter dated April 29, 2022<\/span> (the “Proposal”). Mr. Schloss chairs the special committee.<\/p>\n

The Board cautions the Company’s shareholders and others considering trading the Company’s securities that no decisions have been made with respect to the Proposal.
